Scuba Diving

 We've been diving since the early 1970's and have been fortunate to dive, photograph and video some of  the the top dive destinations around the world. We always like sending people to our favorite destinations and since "excellent" diving means different things to different people we like to discuss the kind of diving you like to do, or would like to do, and match your interests to the destination. So we have chosen a few of our favorites to showcase here.  Please keep in mind that we are  familiar with other global destinations like the northern Galapagos Islands, Cocos Island, Papua New Guinea, Bay Islands of Honduras, the reefs of Cozumel Yucatan, Mexico, Fiji, Belize, Red Sea, Isla Socorro, Mexico (eastern Pacific) and even the Springs of Florida

The Sea of Cortez offers a pacific diving experience in our backyard.  It is filled with over 800 species of marine life from damsel fish to hammerhead sharks.   A live-aboard trip gives you the opportunity to access the wonderful diving which is available in the Sea of Cortez.  The season for diving in Baja is June-November when the waters are the warmest.

The Maldives located in the Indian Ocean is a country of atolls who has protected their waters and marine life from the encroachment of commercial fishing by other countries.  The result is a place like no other.  The diversity is amazing with pelagics, small fish, giant mantas, whale sharks, turtles and both hard and soft corals.  We know you have heard about pristine diving but the Maldives takes that phrase to a whole new level.  We represent the Manthiri, a liveaboard that handles 12 passengers with 13 crew members that enables you to access a multitude of dive sites throughout the country.

Sipadan, located off the east cost of Sabah, Borneo is in a class of its own when it comes to diving diversity. It is unique in that it is the only oceanic island (meaning not connected to the continental shelf) in Malaysia. Sabah a state of Malaysia is known as "the land below the wind".  It offers a variety of activities for the discriminating traveler looking for a memorable experience. If you are looking for an adventure then this is the place.  Sabah is a perfect place for SCUBA diving but in conjunction with that it also offers jungle trekking, cave exploration, white-water rafting and mountain climbing.
