Itinerary at a Glance:
Day 0: Arrive in Vernal, Utah overnight. Lodging is additional.
Day 1: Three hour bus ride to Brown's Park National Wildlife Refuge, the site of the put-in. You will spend the next four to five days rafting, exploring and camping. You will encounter rapids such as Harp Falls, Triplet Falls, and Hell's Half Mile. At the confluence of the Green and Yampa rivers you are in Echo Park where the canyon widens a bit.
Last Day: Peaceful morning in Rainbow and Island Park areas before entering the last canyon, Split Mountain Gorge which lives up to its name. The rapids are fast and furious before the take out and a 35 minute bus ride back to Vernal.
