Transportation These partial trips allow you to see one section of the Canyon on a shorter trip but you always end up in a different place than where you start so you will incur some extra logistical expenses to return to your starting point. Plan to stay at a South Rim Lodge the evening prior and be ready for your morning hike to the river to meet the boats. You'll meet your boats at the river and the crew will take it from there. You'll repack, strap on a life jacket get on the boats and begin your Grand adventure.
